About Us: The Phunny Papers Story
What does a group of former Disney Feature Animators do when they miss the classic magic of the Sunday funnies?
They bring them back, of course!
For years, our team helped bring iconic animated stories to life on the big screen. Now, we are taking all that hand-drawn storytelling knowledge and crafting a brand-new comic experience built specifically for your phone, tablet, and computer. What was fun back then is still fun now. We’re just ditching the messy newsprint ink for vibrant digital pages!
Welcome to Phunny Papers—your new home for weekly laughs, unforgettable characters, and timeless comic strip storytelling.
Our PHunny Commitment To You
We are so glad you’re here. To keep the classic spirit of the Sunday comics alive all week long, here is what you can expect from us:
- PHriday PHunnies at PHive! A fresh batch of brand-new comics will drop every Friday at 5:00 AM so you can start your weekend with a laugh.
- Living Comic Strips. You will discover a massive variety of artistic styles and stories from our veteran artists—including interactive, animated panels that bring the characters to life!
- The Omnium-Gatherum. Every week, this special section will feature a brand-new piece of hand-drawn animation to enjoy.
- PHact or PHib? Test your brain every week with a new mind-bending trivia challenge to see how well you truly understand the universe.
- Interactive Brain Teasers. Enjoy new downloadable activities, puzzles, and mazes. Because these take a little extra magic to sketch out, puzzles and mazes will rotate on a fresh monthly schedule.
